Host families are the local coordinator’s greatest asset. Finding and maintaining active as well as backup host families throughout the year is one of the local coordinator’s most important jobs.
Host families can be found via word of mouth, church bulletins, newspaper ads, signs, etc…
Student supervision:
Local coordinators must be available to their students 24/7 in case any emergencies occur.
Local Coordinators must contact the students at least once a month to ascertain the student’s personal and academic wellbeing.
The local coordinator must personally meet with their students at least every other month as well.
A student activity must be arranged by the local coordinator once per semester.
Host family relationships:
You also need to be a support to the host family as well. Host families have a lot of responsibilities and our local coordinators need to be sure the host families understand these responsibilities as well as follow through with them.
School relationships:
Our local coordinators act as a liaison between the partner school and AnB EducationTM Headquarters. A good relationship with our schools is essential to maintain our business ties.
Monthly Reports:
A monthly report, per student, is due by the 15th of every month.
The host family will insert two photos and fill out their section and send it back to you.
The LC personally asks for student’s answers to the questions every month and finishes up the report with local coordinator comments.
The LC checks the monthly reports for photos, spelling and grammar mistakes, and complete sentences.
When complete, send the monthly reports to AnB EducationTM Headquarters.
